You Might Say I’m a Dreamer…
I help organizations spread their message to consumers who share the same values and mission.
Working with people who respect Mother Nature and everything she looks after is my passion.
I want to live in a peaceful world full of healthy choices and opportunities for all animals, humans included. One with no more child labor, sweatshops, animal abuse and testing, pesticides, GMOs and harmful chemicals on the foods, clothes, cosmetics, meds and other products we consume. And a world without poverty and war. Do I believe in fairy dust? Absolutely!
But I also believe in the power of people and our ability to create change. With your amazing company creating this change and my voice to help you spread your message, you can move mountains!
Let’s Talk about your Project!
It All Started in College
During my university years, I began my voiceover career as a DJ at WUSC 90.5 FM, still today one of the most reputable college radio stations in the US. After receiving my marketing degree at The University of South Carolina in 1991, I stayed tuned as a marketing coordinator for an independent record label in Atlanta as well as gained valuable advertising experience with a local newspaper publisher.
Then I moved to Germany in 1995. I first learned the language, then the culture, then the job market. My first full-time job in Germany started in 1998 as an internet consultant at a fairly large advertising agency. After that, I enhanced my online knowledge by marketing software for two IT companies over the next 13 years.
During this time, I wrote, optimized and translated a LOT of copy as well as spoken into answering machines and microphones for company presentations and films. Anything that had to be done in English was passed over to me. I found my niche as an English Native Speaker in a foreign country.
tunes in and speaks out
My career path took a turn in April 2013 when I decided to offer Voiceovers.
To be honest, I have a young daughter and in the beginning of 2013, I had to make a choice. I chose her. I used to spend more time in my office than I did at home and I clearly wasn’t happy. I also wanted to market ethical brands that make positive changes in the world. Although I worked for fantastic companies, no doubt, I didn’t feel my life’s purpose was being realized.
Spending quality time with my family AND helping companies whose values are similar to mine is what makes me happy and fulfilled.
